Businesses that Deliver Exceptional Service
I just got a free membership for another business that I run in my spare time. The business is called Guilford Greens. We grow specialty micro greens, like sunflower shoots, radish, pea tendrils, arugula micro greens, broccoli, kale, cauliflower.
Sometimes there are things that I want to buy in bulk, so I decided to ask Restaurant Depot if I was eligible for a membership. I sent them a message from their website.
A few minutes later, no exaggeration, Robin from Restaurant Depot called me and told me that if I had an EIN (Employer Identification Number), which I do, that I would be eligible for a FREE membership.
She was very pleasant. Took her time to answer a few questions. Told me when she would be there so that I could apply for a membership at one of their stores. Finally, when I told her that I would probably be in on Saturday, she said that she was looking forward to seeing me on Saturday morning.
This is the way businesses should treat customers and prospective customers. Pleasantly, unhurried, focused.
I have a list of companies that I think deliver exceptional customer service. They are big and small alike. I do not discriminate. The list is always changing.
Here it is:
