Page Insurance Supports Dudley Farm
As a new member of The Dudley Farm Museum, Page Insurance looks forward to getting involved. The people and many activities here are truly special!
A small living history museum in North Guilford, The Dudley Farm Museum reflects the agricultural life common to the area during the late 19th century. “A visit here is a step back in time, a rural retreat from the past, preserved for the future,” says its website.
A very busy place, The Dudley Farm Museum is currently working on a number of projects, including preservation of its buildings; enlarging its period collections; and developing The Museum into a center for community activities. There are endless volunteer opportunities and ways to make a difference. Various events are held throughout the year including blacksmithing demonstrations, sheep shearing, wool spinning, crafters, quilters, archeological digs, and music jams.
The Dudley Farm Museum is simply a whole lot of fun! Families can enjoy a day at the farm, learning about the animals and the history here. On Saturdays, the Farmers’ Market offers farm-fresh food. We can’t wait to start working the soil in the Community Garden. Our green thumbs have always given us a sense of pride!
The Museum is located at 2351 Durham Road, at the intersection of routes 77 and 80 in North Guilford, CT. For more information, contact the Museum at 203-457-0770 or the Market at 860-349-3917, visit www.dudleyfarm.com. or visit Facebook at Dudley Farm Museum.
