Hey Clients and Prospects,

Quick but important PSA:

One of our clients recently had a major house fire—caused by a rechargeable battery (like the ones used in EGO tools) that was stored indoors. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the damage was extensive and life-disrupting.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Don’t store rechargeable batteries in your house
  • Keep them in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area—garage or shed is best
  • Unplug them once they’re fully charged
  • Check them regularly for swelling or damage

These batteries are powerful—but they can be dangerous if not stored properly.

Take a minute today to check where yours are.

Stay safe,

George Page
